Ministry brings another positive update on visa free entry for Indians
Doha Today
Ministry of Interior on its website shares another update for Indians arriving in Qatar on arrival visas. According to the latest update in the requirements, a credit card is no longer mandatory to enter Qatar on arrival visas. The tourist should either have a credit card or a debit card in his or her name while arriving in the country. Previously it was mandatory for the traveller or the head of the family that arrives in a group to possess a valid credit card in their name. Apart from this change, the other rules remain the same, including no extension of stay beyond 30 days, passport with over the six-month validity and a requirement for a confirmed hotel reservation and return ticket. Prior to November 11, Indians, who are among the six major visitors to Qatar, could extend their on arrival visa to stay for a maximum period of 60 days. Courtesy: https://www.thepeninsulaqatar.com
